Founded in March 2020 by Community Care Cooperative (C3) and the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers, the FQHC Telehealth Consortium was established to support health centers as they pivoted to telehealth services, provided necessary COVID-19 care, and sought to remain financially sustainable during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Telehealth Playbook is a new resource from the FQHC Telehealth Consortium to help health centers and other providers implement and improve telehealth at their practices. It’s organized around the five domains of the Consortium’s telehealth maturity model: Strategy and Leadership, Clinical Integration, People, Technology & Tools, and Reimbursement & Policy – the pillars of an effective telehealth program.
The Playbook is designed as a practical resource for clinical leaders, telehealth program managers, providers and staff. It includes frameworks, best practices, clinical pathways, workflows, job descriptions, and many other resources. Users can find content by browsing the table of contents or using the “search” function.
Telehealth practice is evolving, and so is this Playbook. Check back often to see what’s new. In addition, please use the “feedback” button to send comments, suggestions, or requests for new or updated content.
